Serves: Makes 1 small bowl

An easy, delicious and different charoset for your Seder plate this year. You can prepare this a day or two ahead and refrigerate in a lidded container.

Method:

  • Core and roughly dice the apple. Place it in a food processor or blender together with the pitted dates, walnuts, raisins, clementine zest and juice, pomegranate molasses, and cinnamon.
  • Pulse a few times. A blender will create a smooth paste, while a food processor will leave a chunkier texture. Choose which texture you prefer.
  • Transfer to a small bowl and serve as it is. We garnished it with thin apple strips, roughly crushed walnuts, a drizzle of pomegranate molasses, and pomegranate seeds.
