A retired Israeli space chief reportedly said that a secret “Galactic Federation” of aliens exists but has remained in hiding because “humanity is not ready” for its existence.
Professor Chaim Eshed, 87, who headed Israel’s space programme until 2010, made the outlandish claims during an interview with Hebrew daily Yediot Aharonot last Friday.
Mr Eshed, who led the launch of Israel’s spy satellite Ofek-9, also apparently said President Donald Trump is aware of the alien federation’s existence and was close to revealing it but aliens intervened to prevent mass hysteria.
“They have been waiting for humanity to evolve and reach a stage where we will generally understand what space and spaceships are.
