MGBSFL DIVISION TWO

TEMPLE FORTUNE 0 BORUSSIA BARNET 2

The conditions were really tough as both teams struggled to get a foothold at Silver Jubliee Park, with Fortune starting the brighter of the two teams, without creating too much in the way of clear-cut chances. The adopted bold tactics for this promotion six-pointer, often leaving four players high up the pitch, but top-scorer Danny Sherman was generally well-marshalled.

Borussia settled into the game more after 30 minutes and they began to play better football and slowly got on top, although neither goalkeeper - Joe Botchin of Borussia or Ed Bloom of Fortune had too much to do.
