It’s June already! Summer berries and salads abound.

Here's a quick round up of the last few weeks on my plate plus some pointers of where to find your next exciting mouthful:

ISRAELI EATS:
I got to spend Pesach feasting in Israel with my family. Even over Pesach, Israeli food didn’t disappoint. The Tel Avivian markets and Mahane Yehuda were as good as ever. At two markets, schnitzels in challah smothered in rich tomato sauce and Israeli pickles were a huge hit. I'd fly back from one of those right now.


LONDON OPENING:
As I can’t get enough of a good thing, it’s perfect timing (for me) for the opening of Eyal Shani’s next London restaurant, Lilienblum. This week I’ll be popping in to review the menu.
