Three people have been charged by police in connection to the closure of the LL Camps in Hertfordshire.
Police have confirmed that two men and one woman had been charged with offences.
LL Camps co-founder Ben Lewis was charged with three offences relating to indecent images of children last month.
The camp, which was popular with Jewish families in the area, was closed the day after 25-year-old Mr Lewis, from Borehamwood, was arrested.
Police today confirmed that three people – including LL Camps co-founder Tal Landsman - were arrested after an operation led by Hertfordshire Constabulary’s Joint Child Protection Investigation unit.
Former JFS student Mr Landsman, 25, has been charged with conspiracy to cause cruelty to a child and conspiracy to pervert the course of justice.
His mother, Adrianne Landsman, 56, of Edgware, was charged with conspiracy to wilfully neglect children so as to expose them to risk of harm.
Mr Lewis’s father, 55-year-old Larry Lewis from Borehamwood, has been charged with conspiracy to pervert the course of justice.
Police have confirmed that all of the alleged offences relate to the potential destruction of evidence and obstructing police in their inquiries and the requisite responsibilities of the safeguarding of children between from August 1 to 27 of this year.
All three have been released on bail to appear before St Albans Magistrates Court on October 6.
Detective Chief Inspector Dave Newsome said: “We fully understand that parents and professionals will be concerned due to the nature of the investigation, but we are making significant progress to determine the full facts of what remains a complex investigation.
"If anyone has further information they are asked to contact 101 where they will be signposted to an officer on my team.”
