Seth Rogen and his wife Lauren Miller Rogen hosted a carnival attended by a star-studded guestlist in aid of Alzheimer’s awareness.

The comedic actors – both of whom are Jewish – hosted their Hilarity for Charity County Fair in Los Angeles, which has already raised $11m for the cause.

The Rogens were joined by a celebrity guestlist, which included writer and actor Nick Kroll, actor Josh Gad, comedic actors Ike Barinholtz and comedian Ilana Glazer, all of whom are Jewish.

Speaking at the event, Mr Rogen told People: “It has all the ingredients of a very good time, and all in the name of something that is not at all a good time.

“I think that contrast is what has been interesting for people and it’s been a draw for people — to attack a subject that is decidedly not that fun with an approach that is as fun as we can make it.”

Rogen had previously testified about Alzheimer’s awareness before the US Congress.
