Merseyside Jewish Community Care has launched its new website with a distinctly social feel to encourage better communication with the local and student communities.
The site, which went live this week, features quick links to events and easily updatable calendars and notifications. Users can donate money or volunteering time, while pictures of activities will be added frequently.
MJCC chief executive Lisa Dolan said the move was in response to requests from younger members of the community.
"We are aiming to keep it as updated as possible, which can be done by our own staff, as part of our modernisation programme.
"We've changed our care programmes and our logo recently. We now have marketing packs to encourage students to become involved by volunteering. Also, if they have concerns they can know more easily how to access our services. We are hoping to reach out to new people."
