A Gavin Sherman treble was enough to give Brady Maccabi A all three points as they edged out Scrabble 3-2 in Division One of the Maccabi Masters Football League. John Cohen and Andy Miller scored for Scrabble.

North London Raiders hit six without reply against HMH, with Wayne Davidson (2), James Cartmell, Dan Hodes, Lloyd Becker and Matt Kleinman all netting.

In Division Two, hat-tricks from Paul Lenchner and Michael Abrahams, plus a double from Max Radford gave Maccabi London Lions B an 8-1 victory against Glenthorne, with Adam Lennard scoring Glenthorne’s consolation.

Two goals from Jason Bentley and one from Oren Wolf saw St John’s Wood Tigers to a 3-1 win over Hendon Harriers, for whom Andy Diamond replied.

And the fourth hat-trick of the day – from Marshside’s Fara Moghim – earned them a 5-2 win over Temple Fortune. Jason Rich and Andrew Cohen also scored for Marshside, whilst Fortune’s goals came from Alan Harounoff and a late penalty from Robert Botkai.
