New blood always galvanises the league, and this year was no different. Here are the star men.

1. CAEL PERSAUD (Athletic Bilbaum) - "has come into the team this year and made a massive difference. His shop-stopping and commanding presence instilled confidence in the defence. Clean sheets have come with outstanding saves that have mesmerised the opposition"

2. GAVIN FOX (Boca Jewniors) - the Boca boys have been such a stronger team defensively with him in the side

3. JOSH LEWIS (L’Equipe) - "Though not technically a newcomer he made the left-back position his own this season. Became a new man this year showing a tremendous defensive mind that none of us knew he had, even shown a turn of basis that seemed impossible with his previous fitness levels"

4. ALEX LEE (Oakwood A) - knitted into the team like he'd been there for years. Also featured for Manchester Maccabi but made a huge impression in the London league

5. DAN KING (Oakwood B) - "Has barely put a foot wrong in his debut season and has been a near ever present. Strong, commanding in the air and terrific with the ball at his feet. Has a number of goals and assists to his name and I think he is someone we will hear a lot about over the next few years. At just 23, he is destined for the captaincy"

6. OSCAR WAGNER (NL Raiders A) - "has been an incredible signing, only 18 years old, six goals in 12 appearances including important winner against Hendon in league. A star of the future. Exceptional talent"

7. ALEX MOSS (NL Raiders A) - brilliant find from Notts University. Impressed every time he played, including the now infamous Peter Morrison Trophy semi-final against Lions

8. ZAC LEWIS (Hendon A) - "superb debut season, well into double figures for goals and assists – magnificent pace, touch and skill and a brilliant dead ball specialist. Big one for the Hendon future"

9. JOSH GOLDSTEIN (NL Raiders B) - "was superb whenever he pulled on the shirt"

10. ZACK NEIMAN (SPEC FC) - "What a debut season. He's been simply fantastic. Blistering pace and scores goals for fun"

11. JOSH PUGH (Athletic Bilbaum) - "joined part through the season but he scored seven goals, produced multiple assists and dictated play throughout; the conductor to the Baum end of season crescendo"
