Some of the community's more experienced players caught the eye, with many of the XI below helping their team pick up honours.
1. RUSSELL CORIN (Hendon United Sports Club A) - " yet another excellent season producing string after string of top quality saves. Amazing performances in penalty shoot-out epic against Redbridge and Peter Morrison Trophy final against Raiders"
2. GIDEON WETRIN (Temple Fortune) - "no-one knows his age but they are very few players younger than him in better shape. A TFCC stalwart"
3. DARREN BROWN (Redbridge JC A) - on top of his game whenever he played, helping some of the RJC youngsters adjust to life in the top division. Missed a chunk of the season but always made his mark
4. TONY PLASKOW (NL Raiders A) - deserved silverware but had to settle for two runners-up medals. Twinkle-toed defender who can play anywhere. Popped up with some crucial goals
5. DANNY SCHINDLER (ML Lions Masters) - former Wingate stopper helped the Lions finish the season with a 100 per cent record. Oh, and a league and cup double winner
6. JAMES ABRAMS (Oakwood B) - "an ever-present and still one of the calmest, most composed midfielders around. Doesn't score as many as he used to but contributes plenty. Just don't ask him to arrive an hour before kick off"
7. ALEX LEVACK (ML Lions Vets/Chigwell Athletic) - registered for three teams this season - Harmen was the only one he didn't win anything with. Won top honours at his club after guiding to cup success and an impressive league campaign
8. CRAIG PEARL (Maccabi London Lions) - dictacted games, pulling the strings from midfield. Added goals to his game that had possibly been missing in his MGBSFL days
9. STEVE SUMMERS (Redbridge JC A/Chigwell Athletic) - the old fox terrorised Premier Division defences in the MGBSFL and produced some important performances in the second half of the season as Chigs clinched the double
10. ADAM STOLERMAN (Chigwell Athletic) - too good for the Masters League. Scored nine goals in one MMFL game and finished a clear winner of the Golden Boot. His only shut-out was against yours truly, when he hit the woodwork no less than four times!
11. DEAN NYMAN (Chigwell Athletic/Redbridge JC A) - started the season late but gave Chigs another dimension in a glorious campaign. Played a handful of games in the MGBSFL and produced some jet-propelled performances
