SPARTAN SOUTH MIDLANDS LEAGUE DIVISION ONE

LONDON LIONS 4 BEDFORD 3

Thinks looked as murky as the weather when Lions went 0-2 down with some careless defending and a penalty before the interval.

The game turned when Lions' goalkeeper David Myers made a quite breathtaking save to stop the spot-kick and stem the tide.

This sparked Lions into action and they immediately pulled one back before half-time to change the tone of the teamtalk; Ollie Craig scoring with a header from a corner.

Lions looked to be finished when Bedford added a third, but it was Lions finishing strongly deep into the game with a salvo of goals to provide an unlikely comeback.

Jake Furman made it 3-2 before Adam Bolle netted what looked like a massive point for the home team, only for the unlikely winner from an unlikely source with Arnold again crossing for defender Craig to head home the winner.

LIONS: David Myers, Adam Myeroff, Adam Harvey, Anthony Stockman, Ollie Craig, Jake Rinsler, Benji Weinberger, Jake Furman, Adam Bolle, Adam Bolle, Nathan Schindler. Subs: Lee GoldbergLouis Lazarus, Reiss Mogilner
