Good news for DIY enthusiasts living in the holy land. After numerous delays, IKEA Israel has said that its second store will open in March 2010. Business leader and philanthropist Matthew Bronfman, the owner of IKEA Israel, announced the plans today after The Central Regional Planning and Building Commission subcommittee for objections recently approved the plan for the final stage in the planning process. The store will be located in the Tel Aviv suburb Rishon LeZion.
