A flapjack with a deliciously nostalgic feel

150g unsalted butter, cubed, plus extra for greasing
150g soft light brown sugar
4 tbsp golden syrup
½ tsp fine sea salt
1 tsp almond extract
300g porridge oats (gluten free if needed)
For the filling and topping:
275g golden marzipan
150g dark chocolate, melted
2 tbsp flaked almonds, toasted
