¼ tsp salt
250g plain flour
50g golden caster sugar
225g unsalted butter, chilled and cut into 1 -2cm cubes
225g full-fat cream cheese, at room temperature
1 tsp vanilla extract
Small jar of vegetarian mincemeat
100g dried mixed fruit (optional - it adds texture)
Ground cinnamon or mixed spice
1 egg, for glazing
