A family-friendly supper that’s full of flavour

¼ red cabbage, finely shredded
½ lemon, juice only
Drizzle of olive oil
Pinch of sea salt
Sprinkling of black and white sesame seeds, toasted
Soft taco wraps or tortillas
For the katsu sauce
1 tbsp olive oil
½ onion, chopped
1 garlic clove, grated
2 tsp ground turmeric
2 heaped tsp curry powder
1 tbsp tomato ketchup
Splash of soy sauce
2 Granny smith apples, peeled, cored and grated
400ml vegetable stock
1 tsp cornflour mixed with 1 tsp water
For the quick pickles
1 cucumber, halved lengthways
2 long red chillies, halved lengthways
Large bunch of radishes, halved lengthways
1 large red onion, finely sliced
Small bunch of dill, chopped
For the pickling liquor
250ml white vinegar
250ml water
4 tbsp sugar
1 tsp coriander seeds
1 tsp chilli flakes
