Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will visit London in September to speak with David Cameron.

Mr Netanyahu, who was re-elected in March, will discuss issues with the British Prime Minister including the Iran nuclear deal and the Israel-Palestinian peace process.

The situation in the Gaza Strip and the Syrian civil war will also be up for discussion during the visit before Rosh Hashanah, according to Israeli television station Channel 2.

Israel’s Prime Minister will then fly to New York to attend the UN General Assembly, it is understood.
