Miley Cyrus has added a fresh outrage to her record of controversy by taking aim at “old Jews” in the music industry.

The 20-year-old singer said in a recent interview: “It’s always weird when things are targeted for young people yet they’re driven by people that are like 40 years too old.”

She then added: “It can’t be like this 70-year-old Jewish man that doesn’t leave his desk all day, telling me what the clubs want to hear.”

Ms Cyrus’s comments follow a series of offensive stunts.

These include cavorting on stage with life-size teddy bears, stripping down in front of her young audience, and taking drugs on camera.
