Israeli jets hit a Hizbollah stronghold on the Lebanon-Syria border last night, according to reports.

The air strike allegedly killed several Hizbollah operatives, as well as a number of civilians, in the Nabi Sheet area.

A Lebanese security source told AFP: “Two Israeli raids hit a Hizbollah target on the border of Lebanon and Syria.”

The British-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said the target was a Hizbollah “missile base”.
