When Meghan Markle married Prince Harry at the weekend and became the Duchess of Sussex, everyone wanted to know about her dress.

What we didn't know then was that her veil would end up being possibly an even bigger story the dress itself - and that the little boys who held the veil would become minor celebrities as a result.

Jewish twins Brian and John Mulroney held the Duchess' veil as she walked up the steps of St. George’s Chapel and down the aisle to her prince, looking even more excited than the bride herself.

The twins' mother Jessica Mulroney, best friends with Meghan, was born Jessica Brownstein and her own wedding, to Ben Mulroney (son of a former Canadian Prime Minister) was officiated over by both a Roman Catholic Monsignor and a rabbi. As well as seven-year-old Brian and John, their sister Ivy, 4, was a bridesmaid alongside Princess Charlotte.

According to Vanity Fair Jessica was "indispensable" to Meghan during wedding planning.  “She’s the one helping Meghan to make all the key decisions. They are on the phone daily discussing every element of the wedding, from the dress to the flowers to the canapés and the photography. Meghan is very dependent on Jessica and Jessica has been totally indispensable. She’s helped Meghan and Harry with so much already.”

Jessica's blue dress also caught the attention of the press, with some calling it her "Pippa moment".
