Lin-Manuel Miranda’s historical-political hip-hop opera Hamilton is the cultural phenomenon of the year.
Everyone from JC columnist Danny Finkelstein to Girls creator Lena Dunham has been singing its praises. And now there’s a golden opportunity for you to do some singing too.
On Monday, Miranda announced a charity campaign on Twitter in order to raise donations for the Immigrants: We Get the Job Done Coalition using the #Ham4All hashtag.
Fans in their thousands have been uploading videos of themselves singing excerpts from the Broadway sensation. A $10 donation to the cause puts them in the running for a prize draw of opening night tickets to the Los Angeles production of the show.
And foremost among the entrants have been some Jewish celebrities who are both keen to show their support - and perhaps snag one of the hottest tickets in LA.

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend triple-threat Rachel Bloom
We think Rachel has a slight advantage when it comes to singing competitions, but it's all in a good cause. Why don't you try your luck too? Although you will have to get yourself to Los Angeles.
If LA seems a bit too far. Hamilton opens in London this November
