Police are investigating a spate of antisemitic graffiti on bus shelters and buildings in Edgware that calls Jews “aliens” and “malevolent.”
Officers received reports of the graffiti on a bus stop in Burnt Oak which read “Jews and gays are gray aliens”, while a wall next to Natwest Bank on Hale Lane was daubed with the phrase “Jews and gays are malevolant [sic]’.
A spokesperson said: “We are aware of these incidents and an appointment has already been made with the caller. At this stage it is too early to say if they are linked. No arrests have been made”.
The graffiti, spotted by Jewish News journalist, Jack Mendel, follows reports of similar anti-Jewish vandalism on a bus shelter which urged people to watch conspiratorial antisemitic videos.
Last week when I was coming home, I saw antisemitic graffiti at the bus stop in Edgware, where a fair few Jewish people live (https://t.co/9IaRKMwDQL)

Since then, two more instances have been sent to me (see below). I've reported them.... Not nice to see pic.twitter.com/TN4qAs23PY
Last Thursday, a bus shelter on Station Road in Edgware, north west London, was vandalised with antisemitic writing.
The graffiti told people to go onto “Youtube” and search “Talmud quotes + (about goyim)”, “Rothschild Trillions quantified” and “New World Order Agenda”.
Mark Gardner, director of communication at the Community Security Trust (CST) said the graffiti was “the kind of thing you would more usually see on the Internet, but by any standards it is a bizarre compilation of conspiracies, with antisemitism at their heart.”
