Police are looking into two incidents of antisemitic graffiti in west London.

Commuters at West Ealing train station were shocked to find an image of a Star of David hanging from a gallows on a billboard last Friday. The graffiti was removed the same day.

A second daubing, using the same image of a Star of David being hanged, was found on a pillar outside St Christopher’s Church in nearby Hanwell.

It was also removed.

David Neil Robinson, who alerted police to the second incident, said: “This is awful that antisemitic graffiti has been sprayed outside my local community church that is used by anyone and everyone and most recently as a polling station for the EU referendum.”
