Police appeal for information on antisemitic abuse by Chelsea football fans

Chelsea fans allegedly abused an Orthodox Jewish rail passenger with antisemitic chants after an FA Cup clash.

British Transport Police said the man was forced to move carriages after being targeted by football fans on a train from Milton Keynes to Euston on Sunday, January 31.

In an appeal for information detectives have today released the image of a man who may have knowledge of the incident.

Detective Constable David Peek said: “The incident happened on Sunday, January 31, the day Chelsea played at MK Dons in the FA Cup.
