A delegation of Israeli cyber security companies will travel to London next month in a bid to further bilateral trade ties.

Representatives from 10 leading companies, which specialise in the protection of national infrastructure from water to energy and transportation, will meet UK counterparts on the three day visit from February 3.

Nathan Tsror, head of the economic and trade mission at the Israeli embassy in London, who is co-organising the event, said: “The cyber-relationship between Israel and UK is a strong and important one. There is much from over 20 years of experience in the cyber-field that Israel can offer to the UK, especially where the protection of critical national infrastructure is concerned. Our first cyber delegation last June created a great avenue for partnership and this visit in February is an extremely important step in building on that positive momentum.”

Dr Tal Steinherz, chief technological officer of the Israeli National Cyber Bureau (INCB) at the Prime Minister’s Office, will lead the delegation.
