Two more Israelis wounded after second car-ramming attack

Two man have been wounded after a car rammed into them in the West Bank.

According to reports a Palestinian man drove through Gush Etzion Junction toward Jerusalem and ran into a soldier and a civilian who were standing at the junction. He then got out the car holding a knife.

A soldier stationed at the junction opened fire of the attacker and killed him. The Israelis were lightly wounded, according to Magen David Adom paramedics at the scene.

This was the second car-ramming attack of the day.

Earlier on Tuesday an Israeli man died after being run over following a rock attack on his car.

According to reports the 54-year-old man, who has been identified as Avraham Asher Hasno, had been driving near Kiryat Arba in the Hebron area. He got out of his car when it was hit by rocks and was then run over by a passing truck.

He was treated at the scene and evacuated to hospital but was pronounced dead shortly after.

The driver of the truck has been captured and is an Arab man suspected of intentionally running over the victim.
