Help for flood victims in Maidenhead

articlemain

The flooding in the Thames Valley areas has impacted on Maidenhead Synagogue and its members. Some have been unable to attend shul because they could not leave their flooded properties.

Minister Rabbi Jonathan Romain said on Wednesday that the shul was “on standby in case we need to turn the synagogue into temporary accommodation [for members in difficulties]. If necessary, we can use classrooms as bedrooms. We’ve also offered to take food to people who cannot use their cars. My phone is currently the hotline to call if anyone runs out of supplies.”
