Windows at the Carmelli bakery in Golders Green have been smashed twice this week.

The shop was closed on Shabbat morning when a brick was thrown through the front. A patrolling Police Community Support Officer saw the suspect — a male of about 18, dressed in black, and of unknown ethnic origin — but he ran off.

The second incident was in the early hours on Monday, when a rock was thrown through the window, smashing five glass panels. The store front has now been boarded up.

Police are investigating the incidents. A Carmelli representative declined to comment.
