The Jewish Ukip candidate who ran against Jeremy Corbyn in Islington North mouthed the words “terrorist sympathiser” as the results were announced.
Keith Fraser can clearly be seen on camera uttering the words behind Mr Corbyn as the Labour leader delivered his acceptance speech last night.
Today Mr Fraser told the JC that he was “angry and upset” to see the electoral support for a man, he said, had a “history of appeasing and supporting terrorist groups”.
Mr Fraser made reference to Mr Corbyn’s ties with Hamas, the fact that he has “never condemned the IRA” and that he laid a wreath at the grave of a Palestinian terrorist involved in the 1972 Munich Olympics massacre.
He added: “To see an odious man with that kind of record lauded as a hero is very sad for Jewish people and indeed any freedom-loving person in this country.”

Two years ago Mr Fraser stood for election in Hackney, where he and the other candidates were given the opportunity to speak. He therefore prepared a speech for last night’s results, but was not allowed to read it.
“I had actually planned to say more than I did,” Mr Fraser told the JC.
“For a start, I was going to call [Mr Corbyn] ‘Jezbollah’ and then commiserate with the people of Islington who did not have the cojones to wake up and smell the coffee.”
Describing himself as “a man of mischief but voice of reason”, Mr Fraser, who lives in Woodside Park in north London, runs a speaking and training consultancy whose catchline is ‘Cojones: grow a pair for success’.
