Comedian Amy Schumer has revealed she is pregnant with her first child.
She used a friend’s Instagram account to announce that she was expecting her first child with husband Chris Fischer.
First she superimposed an image of herself onto one of Prince Harry and Meghan Markel who recently announced that they were having a baby.
Then she linked to the profile of the Chief White House Correspondent for CNN, Jessica Yellin, who posted Schumer’s recommendations for the US midterm elections. At the end of the post were the words:
“I’m pregnant- Amy Schumer.”
Schumer, 37, whose father is Jewish, told the JC in May about the antisemitism she experienced as a child, married chef Fischer in February. The couple used elements from Jewish weddings, such as having Fischer stamp on a glass.
