JC GOAL OF THE WEEK CONTENDERS
ZACH COHEN (Mill Hill Dons) - a perfectly placed free-kick from distance, finding the top corner and giving the goalkeeper absolutely no chance (check it out on the Dons' twitter!)
BEN MANDELL (West Hamdillah) - a wonderful free-kick into the top corner against FC Team
ZACKI DOUMOU (North West London Bears) - GOAL 4 - picked the ball up 30 yards out and struck a vicious shot of the underside of the crossbar and into the net. Nothing any keeper could do
ZACKI DOUMOU (North West London Bears) - GOAL 5 - got the ball in a position where there was seemingly no danger. Decided to take on the six players in front of him, beat them and then nutmegged the keeper, before tapping into the empty net. The Ducks' players even applauded this one
NATHAN ROSENTHAL (Borussia Barnet) - If anyone scored a better goal than Nathan Rosenthal this week, Brad Papier will be shocked! He received the ball shifted it away from one, danced passed the other where he fell to the floor and when faced with a one-on-one he decided to drink a standing goalkeeper, ridiculous goal
--------------------------
JC SAVE OF THE WEEK CONTENDERS
HAYDEN PITCH (Redbridge Jewish Care) - incredible one-handed save down to his very far right hand side to deny James Millet from the penalty spot
JACK SHOWMAN (Manchester Maccabi 1st) - SAVE 1 - superbly-time goal-saving tackle, one-on-one against Mikey Perkins with the tie goalless
JACK SHOWMAN (Manchester Maccabi 1st) - SAVE 2 - wonderful finger-tip save to keep out a free-kick from Benji Weinberger that looked destined for the top corner at 3-1
GIDEON CALLER (Faithfold DocMM White) - excellent stop from a curling effort from outside the area that was heading into the top left-hand corner
--------------------------
JC QUOTE OF THE WEEK CONTENDERS
JAMIE NAGIOFF (Mill Hill Dons) - "That's two wins from two now for 2020 and we look completely unrecognisable compared to the side that was struggling for points earlier this season"
ELLIOT CUKIER (West Hamdillah) - "We gave the best team in the division a scare and it should show the rest of the league what we mean to do in 2020"
DAN KRISTALL (Oakwood) - QUOTE 1 - "We know our league form hasn't been great but our performances, in patches, have been good as we prepare for the cup games that in reality will define our season"
DAN KRISTALL (Oakwood) - QUOTE 2 - "With the news that Louie Basso joins us from Manchester Maccabi for an undicslosed fee in February, this gives everyone at the club a huge boost as Ric Blank worked tirelessly to make this deal happen. We look forward to welcoming Louie to Oakwood"

MLFC BLUE 2 MANCHESTER MACCABI 1st 4

Michael Sacks's men stormed into a 3-0 lead at half-time before securing their passage into the next round with another in the second half. Mikey Perkins and Sam Hamerton replied for MLFC.

MLFC player-manager Max Kyte told JC Sport: "We had a couple of fight back moments, Manchester maintained their dominance and they very much deserved the victory.”

FAIRLOP FC 3 OAKWOOD 3
A last-ditch goal from James Gold, his second of the game, denied Fairlop a famous win as Oakwood rallied to share the points after a six-goal thriller against Fairlop. Alex Lee scored Oakwood's other goal.
Fairlop's goals came through Daryl Rubin and James Jaconelli (2).
Oakwood Director of Football Dan Kristall told JC Sport: "We experimented with our squad with next weeks cup tie in mind, resting several regulars and so ultimately a point must be seen as a good result from a tricky match."
Fairlop's Jake Sanders told JC Sport: "Ultimately, it's two points dropped given the fact we conceded deep into stoppage-time, but on a positive note, it's two matches unbeaten and four points from a possible six available."

FAITHFOLD DOCMM WHITE 2 HMH 1
Goals from Martin Smulovitch and Avi Markiewicz saw Faithfold DocMM White return to the summit following a hard-fought win over HMH.
Ethan Krell had equalised for HMH who were left to rue a string of missed chances, as well as bad luck, with Sammy Kingston and Dom Feldman striking the post.
Faithfold player-manager Avi Markiewicz told JC Sport: "This was our best performance of the year so far and in fact in quite some time, on par with our 4-1 demotion of Redbridge A a couple of seasons back."
Disappointed HMH boss Avi Goldberg told JC Sport: "We were not at our finest today, and a bit like Pep said, we only have ourselves to blame as yet again we could not turn possession and territory into goals despite all the extra practice at training. Even if we still created enough to win, take no credit away from Faithfold who like Leicester defend deep and counter very well. Let’s hope Faithfold can join us and take some points off Hendon too!"
DC Prediction: Faithfold 1 HMH 1
