Jason Stein is targeting this place after a Ben Annis double helped Oakwood B leapfrog FC Team following a seven-goal thriller.
Rafi Bloom and Anthony Kintish also scored as FC Team's promotion hopes were dealt an almighty blow.
Jon Breger (2) and Lorian Madanes hit back for FC Team, but it was Oakwood and Woodford smiling at the end.
Oaks boss Jason Stein told JC Sport: "It was a really satisfying to win today and it's one of the most pleasing wins we have had all season.
"I've made no secret that 2016 has not gone the way I would have hoped and today was a great opportunity for players like left midfielder Ben Annis and striker Rafi Bloom to start and prove they should be playing more. And they did just that.
"To a man, we worked so hard today, stayed disciplined and played with some passion. It's delightful.
"Team B are a very strong side and I'll look forward to our last game of the season against them. They may feel aggrieved not to have taken a point.
"As for us, we've got three games left and I want the lads to kick on from here and end the season with another seven points. We've now secured a top five finish - something I am proud of - but now the aim is to try and finish third.
"Finally, the referee Callum Foster was absolutely exceptional today."
FC Team player-manager Mitch Young told JC Sport: "Missing a number of key players, it was always going to be difficult against a strong Oakwood team. However, the goals we conceded was totally unacceptable. It was mistake after mistake.
"We then went on to miss a couple of open goals and fluffed chances. A draw was probably a fairer reflection of the game and we were denied what I felt was a stonewall penalty in the last minute, but there you go. We weren't good enough."
But Young has not ruled out his side winning the title and claims it's still in their hands. "We now have four games to go and somehow if we win all four we win the league. But it's a big if at the moment. I challenge my players to step up and challenge themselves," he said.
"The Woodford game will be make or break but we have Faithfold first and we need to win. I'm hopeful we can welcome back a number of key players for the run-in."
