Scrabble FC became the first MGBSFL champions of season 2015/16 after they landed the Division Two title with a game to spare, Woodford Wanderers, meanwhile, closed in on an instant return to the Premier Division with an impressive victory.

DANNY CARO'S GOAL OF THE WEEK
WINNER: - ELLIOTT GOLD (Woodford Wanderers) - stunning 35-yarder caught everyone by surprise as it flew in at the near post to put his team ahead. One of the best goals from distance you'll see this season!
Runner-up: - ADAM WATERS (Scrabble FC) - a 35-yard dipping cross-shot that screamed into the Faithfold net to make it 2-0 similar to the Peter Crouch goal for Stoke City a few seasons ago
3rd: NATHAN SOLLOSI (Redbridge JC A) - took the ball in the midfield, strode forward and from 40 yards, simply smashed the ball home and beat the keeper with a fantastic finish
4th: AMIR WISELMAN (Temple Fortune) - scored two carbon copy goals but his second was the pick of them. Lovely work in midfield by Josh Klepper who cut back inside, hit a diagonal chip over the FC Team defence allowing Amir to run onto to before lofting it over the keeper from about 25 yards

DANNY CARO'S SAVE OF THE WEEK
DAVID GORDON (FC Team C) - superb work by TFFC’s Aron Barnes on the edge of the box beating three FC team players who then hit a rasping shot towards the right-hand corner only for David Gordon to pull off a strong one-handed save to turn it around the post. Applause all round from both sets of players and those spectating. Brilliant

WINNER: - - DAN KRISTALL (Oakwood A) - "As soon as we saw their line up with all 3 Sollosi’s (only one started against Raiders), and the unplayable Garfinkle, who was as good as anything that I have seen this season, including the Lions Saturday team, we knew that we were in for a really tough game"

3rd: - JASON STEIN (Oakwood B) - "I've made no secret that 2016 has not gone the way I would have hoped and today was a great opportunity for players like left midfielder Ben Annis and striker Rafi Bloom to start and prove they should be playing more. And they did just that"

Hendon United continued their preparations for the Peter Morrison Trophy final with a comfortable 3-0 win over FC Team.
Two goals from Avi Korman plus one from Ethan Zone clinched the points.
Hendon boss David Garbacz told JC Sport: "This was a really satisfying win which enabled us to maintain our momentum, form and confidence heading into the Pesach break and then the big Cup Final in a few weeks time."

SOLLOSI WONDER STRIKE DENIES OAKS
OAKWOOD A 2 REDBRIDGE JEWISH CARE A 2
Raiders were the ultimate winners after title rivals Oakwood and Redbridge finished honours even in London Colney.
Top-scorer Dave Woolman and Brad Wine netted for Oakwood who completed their preparations for the Cyril Anekstein Cup final with a hard-earned point. RJC's goals came through Nathan Sollosi and James Berkley.
RJC boss Jon Jacobs told JC Sport: "Redbridge have had a fantastic season and I am so proud of the boys. We had a couple of bad weeks that has cost us ultimately in both league and cup but can’t complain when I manage such a talented team."
Oakwood joint-manager Dan Kristall told JC Sport: "In terms of the league, we are able to park it for a few weeks and when we do return, we will do our very best to get that second spot."

A Ben Annis double helped Oakwood B leapfrog FC Team on a day when a smile returned to the face of Jason Stein.
Rafi Bloom and Anthony Kintish also scored as FC Team's promotion hopes were dealt an almighty blow.
Jon Breger (2) and Lorian Madanes hit back for FC Team, but it was Oakwood and Woodford smiling at the end.
Oaks boss Jason Stein told JC Sport: "Team B are a very strong side and I'll look forward to our last game of the season against them. They may feel aggrieved not to have taken a point."

Real Sosobad were back to their best to ensure they will finish the season against Brixton after Fabio Revieccio (2), JC star man Richard Rosenthal and Dan Lassman did the damage in a 4-1 success.
Sosobad boss Dan Shafron told JC Sport: "We needed to win this game to give us the best chance of staying in the division and we did so in a convincing manner."

Goals from Zak McLeod, Adam Waters and Elliott Espinoza sparked scenes of wild celebrations for Ray Abrahams' men.
Jubilant Scrabble boss Ray Abrahams told JC Sport: "It's been an honour to manage this squad and now we've had the taste of some silverware we want more days like this."

A last-minute winner from Will Ufland kept Raiders in pole position for third place as they edge past a Real Hendon team who had two players sent off.
Jono Rochenberger had started the comeback following a Real goal in the first-half.
NLR boss Zack Gothelf told JC Sport: "This was a game we wanted to win and, on reflection, probably deserved it. We battled and kept our calm when tempers easily could have flared."
