Division One champions North London Raiders concluded their league campaign in style, and enjoyed the perfect preparation for Sunday’s Masters Cup final.

The double hopefuls romped past Faithfold 5-1 in the Maccabi Masters Football League, courtesy of goals from Saul Conway (2), Andy Bloom, Rob Cohen and Jon Isaacs. Ben Simons scored Faithfold’s consolation.

HMH climbed to second spot with a 3-1 victory over Raiders’ Cup final opponents, Waldaf Town, with James Temple notching a brace and Jonny Gordon adding his name to the scoresheet for HMH, whilst Alex Bourne replied for Waldaf.

Chigwell Athletic won a five-goal thriller against Brady Maccabi courtesy of strikes from Hadley Silver and a double from Mark Conway, including an injury-time winner.

Scott Warren and Gavin Sherman hit the target for Brady.
