Dov Katz will spearhead Team GB's table tennis challenge at next year's European Maccabi Games in Vienna.

The Maccabi stalwart will manage the team and co-chair the sport alongside Lee Vandermolen.

Stephen Gooblar (Junior manager), Eli Baraty (head coach) and Jade Blasse (Assistant-coach) also have key roles. Mel Davidson, the national Maccabi GB table tennis chair, will join the management team as an advisor.

Katz said: "Jewish table tennis is privileged to have so many talented individuals competing at a high level in this country, with many in the top 100 in the England men's rankings, not to mention Zak Zilesnick, the current England No. 1 and Under 15 national champion."

Involved with Maccabi for 28 years, he said: "The committee is in a privileged position to propel Maccabi table tennis to international success."
