Jamie Chapman is set to make sporting history by becoming the first-ever Jewish entrant into the new London Classics Hall of Fame.
To achieve the honour, members must have taken part in the three major London events — the London Marathon, the Prudential Ride 100 cycle challenge and the Serpentine swim, a gruelling two-miles twice around the famous lake in Hyde Park.
Chapman, who lives in Barnet with wife Claire and children Gideon, 10 and Megan 8, does it all for charity and has already raised more than £5,000 for the Royal Society for Blind Children.
He ran his second London Marathon earlier this year and last month competed in the 100-mile cycle ride from the London Olympic Stadium to Surrey and back to The Mall.
