Schwartzman and Giorgi progress at Australian Open

The leading Jewish tennis stars progressed into the second round at the Australian Open - the first grand slam of 2020.

Diego Schwartzman of Argentina eased into the second round of the following a straight sets win over Lloyd Harris of South Africa.

Seeded 14, Schwartzman won 6-4, 6-2, 6-2 to set up a second round meeting with Alejandro Davidovich-Fokina of Spain.

Camila Giorgi of Italy eased into the second round of the Ladies Singles after beating Antonia Lotte of Germany 6-3, 6-3.

Schwartzman will also feature in the Men's Doubles event, where he partners compatriot Guillermo Duran. They have been drawn against second seeds Lukasz Kubot of Poland and Marcelo Melo of Brazil.
