FAIRLOP 2 HMH 2

Fairlop took a point off double cup semi-finalists HMH in a four-goal thriller against HMH, with Max Pincus and James Jaconelli registering.

Fairlop scored first and last. But goals from Dom Feldman and Clark Norton ensured a deserved share of the spoils for HMH.

In one of a few fixtures to be played in vey blustery conditions, HMH dominated the game in terms of both possession and chances. Fairlop came "to hit and run, Mourinho style," according to HMH boss Avi Goldberg, "and thats exactly what they did". Four times in the whole match they made it to the HMH box, two of which were corners, but score twice they did, once in the opening 10 minutes when a mistake in the wind let them in, the other with two minutes to go, in their first foray into HMH penalty area in the second half, a worldie from the right-hand edge of the box that flew past Alex Davies in the corner.

In between these goals, HMH played some scintillating football to "destroy" Fairlop, particularly in the first half when Sam Monjack was on the pitch. Indeed he "should have had a hat-trick, as should Oscar Wagner and Clark Norton, but with the Fairlop goalkeeper in inspired form and HMH profligate in front of goal, it took until midway through the second half for the ball finally to go in as a quality Nate Kashket cross was turned home by Feldman, following which 10 minutes later a George Goldberg shot could only be parried onto the oncoming Norton who turned the ball home.

HMH boss Avi Goldberg told JC Sport: This was classic Pep vs Mourinho - two points dropped for HMH, a big point gained for Fairlop."

DC Prediction: Fairlop 1 HMH 2

MILL HILL DONS 5 REDBRIDGE JEWISH CARE 1

ZACH COHEN (3) was the match-winner for Mill Hill Dons who claimed their third success of the season with a five-star victory Redbridge Jewish Care in the basement battle.

Ben Rodol and Isaac Virchis were also on a target in a game played in high winds at Marlborough Academy.

Delighted Dons' boss Jamie Nagioff told JC Sport: "Given today's awful weather, this has to go down as one of the most professional and well-executed performances I've seen from this side. The boys were focused on the task at hand and adapted superbly to the conditions."
