Roger Bruck won a gold and two silvers in the M75 division of the British Masters Championships in Birmingham.

Bruck won the high jump in 1.18m, the event staged indoors because of bad weather, and took silvers in the long jump and 200m, but was fourth in the 100m.

Sale Harrier Jennifer Simmons tested her recovery from a long-standing back and hamstring injury by winning the 400m hurdles in 68.2 in the North of England League at Blackburn.
