Maccabi London Lions A joined North London Raiders at the top of the Maccabi Masters League first division after winning a seven-goal thriller against Chigwell Athletic.
Michael Abraham (2), Gideon Barnett and Danny Daggers contributed to a 4-3 win, with Lloyd Becker (2) and Mark Conway registering for Chigwell.
HMH and Scrabble notched up their first point of the season after playing out a 1-1 draw, with James Temple netting for HMH and Danny Carr on target for Scrabble.
EHRS Stonegrove maintained their 100 per cent record in Division Two, after goals from Marc Morris (2), Ashley Davidson, James Bloom, Russell Rich, Adam Kern and Dean Schulberg earned them a 7-1 win over Marshside. Gil Barrel scored Marshside’s solitary consolation.
Paul Herszaft scored with his first touch of the game to give St John’s Wood Tigers the advantage over Temple Fortune, and it proved to be the decisive moment in the Division Two tussle, with Tigers running out 1-0 winners, taking them up into second place.
