Brady Maccabi A and St John's Wood Tigers secured big victories in the latest round of matches in the Maccabi Masters League.

Brady A stretched their lead to six points at the top of the table and made it 11 straight wins after their convincing 9-0 win over stablemates Brady B.

A fab five-goal salvo from Tim Levene plus a hat-trick from Mark Wagman and one from Steven Moss completed the rout.

St John’s Wood Tigers also earned maximum points, beating Marshside 5-1 courtesy of goals from Richard Weisfeld, Andrew Cohen, Jason Bentley and two from Jonny Feinmesser.

EHRS Stonegrove and Glenthorne, who has almost identical league records at the start of their encounter, still couldn’t be separated as they played out a 2-2 draw.

Gary Adams opened the scoring for Glenthorne, only to see EHRS equalise and gain the advantage through strikes from Martin Seifert and Steve Krieger respectively.

However, Lloyd Nygate’s 88th-minute leveller ensured that the points were shared, and they remain deadlocked in third and fourth place, separated only by goal difference
