MIchael Kenley's second hat-trick of the season helped Borussia Barnet boost their title hopes with a 5-1 win over Paris Saint-Jewmain.

In a game where the pitch was "borderline playable," the teams got the go-ahead from the referee, "and after a shlap to Uxbridge BB were delighted to not go home without playing".

Borussia started very quickly with a long ball from Lewin releasing Kenley who cleverly flicked the ball around a PSJ defender before tucking it into the bottom corner with just two minutes on the clock.

The visitors doubled their lead three minutes later with a great team move down the right flank. Bergman and Hart exchanged passes, with 'Trent Alexander' Bergman drilling the ball across the box for Kenley to smash top bins on the half volley from inside the area.

PSJ pulled one back from the penalty spot following a push at a corner. BB goalkeeper Joe Botchin got a firm hand on the ball but couldn't keep it out of the net.

BB remained focused and according to manager Brad Papier, "they were trying to have their own goal of the season competition in the first half". A perfectly-weighted through ball from Mitchell Gerber found Hart cutting in from the right to expertly finish top left corner with the outside of his left foot.

Nathan Rosenthal then "hands down won the competition comfortably" when he decided to take on two players after latching  onto a through and dink the keeper. Remember Messi vs Bayern but add an extra defender. It was outrageous!

The pitch became boggier in the second half as the frost melted, meaning this wasn't a great one for the neutral. Sitting comfortably at 4-1, BB saw the game out when 10 minutes from time a long clearance from Botchin bounced over a defender and Kenley volleyed it home over the keeper to complete his hat-trick and the scoring in a comfortable 5-1 win.
