Eilon Kedem, 26, has been handed the chance to return to winning ways on the undercard of Dmitriy Salita's world title fight.
Kedem, an Israeli super-bantamweight from Herzliya, suffered his fourth defeat in 19 professional fights when he lost a majority points decision to Guyana's Elton Dharry at New York's Roseland Ballroom in April.
But Salita, who meets Mike Anchondo for the vacant IBA welterweight title at the same venue, has offered Kedem, who learned to box in the Israeli Army, the chance of redemption against an opponent to be named.
It will be globetrotting Kedem's 12th fight in the USA and he has also fought in Costa Rica twice, London twice, Belgium and Mexico since having his first two paid outings in Israel.
