Caine and Lee goals send in-form Forest top

Sukkotingham Forest have opened up a ten-point lead at the top of the Maccabi GB Southern Football League Division Two table as they fought back from a goal down to win 2-1 at Beitar Bushey. Lawrence Rosenberg had fired the hosts into an 20th minute lead, but goals from Dillion Caine and Matty Lee saw Forest claim their eighth win from nine games. Interim manager Toby Anthony said: “Despite not having any substitutes, the boys put in a passionate display.”

Goals from Nathan Brenner and Sam Holden saw third-place 40 Year Wanderers draw 2-2 against second-place Temple Fortune, for whom Tyler Marks and Michael Goldberg-Jacobs were on target for. Charles Samet scored for Bocher Juniors as they came away from Rapid Viennas with a 1-1 draw.

Geez Park Rangers are the new Premier Division leaders after they leapfrogged Hendon United into top spot, thanks to a 3-0 win at Real Madreidel.

HMH A are a further point behind them following an 8-2 win over Hapoel Hampstead, while champions Oakwood’s season took a further turn for the worst when they were beaten 3-2 at home by Stoke Salmon.

Millbrook Park Calcio are the new Division One leaders after goals from Saul Shimoni and Joel Walters saw them beat Brook Farm Rovers 2-1. Oli Assor had kept Rovers in the game with a stunning 40-yard lob.

Mill Hill Dons consolidated third place in the table with a comprehensive 4-0 win over Hampstead Ducks. Ben Kaufman, Reuben Joshua, Mitch Gerber and Jonny May all finding the back of the net.

Elsewhere, sixth hosted fifth as HMH B and Brady FC played out a 1-1 draw, Jono Mizrahi cancelling out Guy Nehushtan’s opener.

Having been knocked off top spot in the Premier Division, Hendon United were also licking their wounds after suffering an early exit in this season’s Peter Morrison Trophy, Division One title-chasers Yallatasary coming away with an impressive 2-1 win

Scrabble moved back to the top of the Maccabi Masters Football League table – albeit on goal difference – as Tim Levene’s strike settled a tightly-contested game – as they beat Brady 1-0. EHRS Stonegrove completed back-to-back wins as four goals from Bradley Lazarus inspired them to a 5-0 win over Hendon Harriers, James Cartmell claimed their fifth.
