Tomer Hemed has signed a two-year deal with Almeria.
Club president Alfonso García hopes the 27-year-old Israeli international striker can consolidate their position in La Liga after narrowly avoiding relegation last season.
Hemed joins Almeria after three seasons at Real Mallorca. He had been linked with a move to Premier League after scoring 11 goals in his second season, but a ruptured Achilles tendon left him sidelined for seven months.
Hemed said: "I chose Almeria because they see me as a key player."
