It was the perfect response from the setback of losing the Harold Feldman Trophy against the same opposition the previous week.
Haroldeans won it following Max Barnett's 63rd minute strike and boss Bloomberg said: "Losing to Leeds was a wake-up call but we rectified those mistakes.
"They overloaded us in midfield and actually wanted it more. So I made some changes, changed the system and I was pleased with the results.
"It was a really good and competitive game against a good team. They will be a threat to us next season without doubt."
Leeds Maccabi failed to complete the cup double but had no complaints at the scoreline. Now they plan on coming back stronger next season and boss Adam Kristall said: "We were just beaten by a side who were bang up for it. But we've done ourselves proud this season.
"We look forward to next and going one better and we'd love to regain the league title. It's been a real team effort and you need that to progress as a club."
