Essendon Park is 28 minutes from Kings Cross, via Brookmans Park station. Each home has a bespoke interior. Kitchens feature Miele appliances and granite surfaces; bathrooms are finished with hand-made materials.

Among previous owners of the building at Essendon Park are Samuel Whitbread, the brewer and Sir Francis Fremantle, a politician. It has been used as a girl’s school by the Royal Patriotic Fund Corporation and as the clubhouse of the Hatfield London Country Club, whose courses surround the new development.

Buying here gives you access to the golf course, as well as use of your own golf buggy. And you don’t have to like golf. Purchaser David Leveton has no interest in the game, but intends to use his golf buggy to go to the Japanese restaurant in the golf clubhouse.
