Attention all foodies. There is a new kosher catering firm on the block. Chef Adam Zeitlin has launched Zeitlin & Co, a private kosher catering and events company. The firm is up and running but it is not yet certified by the London Beth Din.
Mr Zeitlin, 24, used to work for top kosher caterer Tony Page before deciding to set up on his own. More than 250 people turned up at the official launch party, which took place on Sunday May 16 at the Palm Hotel in north London. Mr Zeitlin, who started taking cooking seriously after a stint working at Michel Roux's Le Gavroche, says: "I was bought cookery lessons for my barmitzvah. I have always had a passion for it. We hope to rival the larger kosher caterers in a couple of years." Cured salmon anyone?
