Berkeley Homes is building in the grounds of St Joseph's Gate, a grade II listed former college in Mill Hill, used by the BBC as a location for its series Call the Midwife. Berkeley is lead development partner at two other schemes in north west London. It is part of the St Edward consortium, which is building Stanmore Place on Honeypot Lane, HA7.

This relieves both first-time buyers and current home owners of the need to save a large deposit - they can secure their home at Stanmore Place with as little as £16,500. Help To Buy guarantees 20 per cent of the price as an equity loan, repayable on the future sale of the property.
Stanmore Place features tree-lined avenues, cycle paths and a lake that is home to more than 1,000 fresh-
water fish. The newest phase of homes, Attlee Court, comprises 55 one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, many offering views of the water feature.
