Perfect Pesach bakes

Looking for luscious chometz-free cakes? You've come to the right place

articlemain

Pesach bakes invariably contain eggs. But vegans don't need to miss out. Blogger, Emma Hollingsworth (aka Mrs Hollingsworth) has invented two gorgeously gluten free bakes that are also egg-less.

Sticky toffee pudding and gooey chocolate brownies (at the top of this page) are both droolworthy. Find both recipes here and more of Emma's delicious recipes on her Mrs Hollingsworth's blog.

Oven not kashered yet? No problem. Make yourself a chocolate biscuit cake. So easy and super delicious. The only down side is that you may not be able to stop eating them, even when they're hiding behind the fridge door.
I invented one for Passover. This recipe is choc a block with dark chocolate, fruit and nuts and totally does the trick. Especially good for this year's Shabbat-straight-to-Pesach whirlwind.  Thank me later.

Fat-free cakes can be dryer than the desert our forefathers crossed on their way to freedom. Not so with this doozie from Silvia Nacamulli. I can still remember how moist this gorgeous hazelnut and chocolate cake was - and I last tasted it three years ago. It's choc full of choc - and crunchy nuts. Make it as a yummy pud with fruit compote. It would be equally at home as a mid-morning treat or on your Passover tea table.
