Videos of John Demjanjuk, the alleged Nazi death camp guard, walking and talking in an animated way have been submitted to an American appeals court.
Prosecutors say the videos show the 89-year-old man in a different light to the one who groaned on April 14 as he had to be carried him from his home.
Demjanjuk is accused of being an accessory to 29,000 deaths during World War II in Nazi-occupied Poland.
The court in Cincinnati halted Demjanjuk's deportation shortly after immigration officers took him from his home. It has since requested detailed records about his medical condition to see if he's healthy enough to travel.
